Movement is the foundation of healthy development

Plichta Foundation – we support physical activity, a passion for sports, and a healthy lifestyle among children and young people.
About the Foundation

We are raising a healthier and stronger generation

Our foundation is dedicated to promoting physical activity among children and young people, as movement plays a vital role in healthy development—both physical and mental. Numerous studies have shown that regular exercise improves well-being, supports the development of social relationships, and helps build teamwork, discipline, and self-confidence.

For children and adolescents, physical activity is an investment in the future. It helps establish healthy habits, combats the growing problem of obesity, and reduces the risk of mental health challenges such as depression and low mood.

In today’s world, where young people spend an increasing amount of time in front of screens, fostering a passion for sports and active living is more important than ever. We believe that a love of movement and physical activity, nurtured from an early age, brings lifelong benefits—helping to build a healthier, stronger, and more self-aware generation.

What We Do

Energy. Character. Teamwork.
Discover Our Initiatives

Our primary goal is to promote physical activity and encourage as many children and young people as possible to embrace an active lifestyle. We believe that regular exercise supports healthy development, builds character, teaches teamwork, and fosters positive habits that last a lifetime.

Mountain Trips

Organization and support of mountain trips carried out in cooperation with schools and other organizations working with children and young people. These activities combine physical exercise, social interaction, outdoor skills development, and a close connection with nature. Mountain trips promote an active lifestyle, foster independence, encourage healthy habits, and strengthen interpersonal relationships. They offer a valuable alternative to screen time while providing young people with opportunities to learn, grow, and explore the natural world.

Volleyball

Supporting the development of volleyball through cooperation with schools and sports clubs. Volleyball is a sport that enhances physical fitness while teaching teamwork, responsibility, discipline, and the values of healthy competition.

Recreational Cycling and General Physical Development Initiatives

Promoting recreational cycling as an accessible and valuable form of physical activity, while supporting the development of cycling trips and other initiatives that encourage active leisure, healthy lifestyles, and lifelong movement habits. These activities help foster regular physical activity, improve overall well-being, and inspire children and young people to embrace an active and healthy way of life.
